Policies

We strive to establish a friendly professional relationship with all of our clients. This relationship can only be built through effective communication and mutual respect. Many of these policies were implemented only after numerous serious discussions, debates, and research into how other kennels around the country handle these issues. Please help us to build a positive relationship by knowing our policies.

Should your dog become ill or injured while being boarded with us, we will attempt to contact you prior to taking your dog to the vet. If you or your emergency contact is not reachable, we will, at our sole discretion, engage the services of your veterinarian. If your veterinarian is not local or not available, we will engage the services of our local emergency veterinarian hospital. Any expenses incurred as a result of veterinarian services must be paid directly to the veterinarian hospital or to our kennel at the time of pickup. Please carefully read our Destructive Dog Policy.

While we make every effort to ensure that our kennel is a safe place for even the most exuberant dog, we will not be held liable in the event that a dog, for any reason, injures itself. All dogs are boarded or otherwise handled or cared for by us without liability on our part for loss or damage from disease, death, running away, theft, fire, injury to persons, other animals or property by said dog, or other unavoidable causes, due diligence and care having been exercised.

Owner/agent agrees to pay all costs for any property damage or personal injury caused by his/her dog during its stay. All charges are due the day the dog is picked up. It is expressly agreed by owner and kennel that kennel's liability shall in no event exceed the lesser of current chattel value of a dog of the same breed and quality, or the sum of $200.00 per dog boarded. The owner further agrees to be solely responsible for any and all acts or behavior of said dog while it is in the care of the kennel.
